Design story
Skilfully handwoven using age-old techniques, the rattan shade has an organic aesthetic which is rich in character and texture. This design also lets the light shine through the gaps in the weave, creating a warm ambient glow. The natural tones of the rattan are complemented by the antique brass finish of the arm. This lamp can be plugged in eliminating the need for an electrician. Position as a pair on either side of a bed for an eye-catching display.
How it's made
This shade is crafted from handwoven rattan, a natural material sourced locally in India. As a fast-growing resource, rattan is an eco-friendly choice. We prioritise sustainability by ensuring that the rattan used in our production is cultivated responsibly. In fact, the cultivation of rattan has helped delay deforestation in certain regions, as its value has led to a reduction in logging to allow for rattan growth.

Care instructions
To care for your wicker light, we recommend using a soft-bristle brush to regularly remove any built up dust. To clean the item, you can use a mild soap and water on a soft cloth to wipe away any dirt. Be sure to turn off the light before cleaning and ensure thoroughly dry before switching back on. Due to the natural material, please do not use any harsh chemical cleaning products.
