This traditional looking mango wood Vidur chest, modelled on an antique Indian design, adds real character to any living space. Solid and extremely sturdy, with carved details, hand-turned feet and hand-forged hardware, it adds interest to a living room and is perfect as a coffee table with a lamp, decorative objects or candles arranged on the top, or at the end of a bed. Equally, its voluminous storage makes it ideal for keeping spaces such as a hallway or boot room uncluttered.
To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a cloth. Please note adding oil may darken the tone of the wood. Due to the natural beauty of these items there may be changes to the colour over time. The finish may mark when put in contact with liquid. Blot any spillage immediately with a dry cloth, do not use chemical cleaners. Warning! Wooden lid is heavy. Do not leave children unattended to avoid risk of injury and trapped fingers. Not to be used in childrens room or used unsupervised by children.
