Nirvi Wood & Iron Cabinet - Black

This elegant Nirvi cabinet has an antique black iron structure for an industrial aesthetic which is complemented by the warm natural tones of the mango wood cabinetry. Perfect for a hallway or living space to curate your choicest books and objet d’art, or indeed in a kitchen as a handsome stand-alone crockery cupboard.

Designed with the contrasting materials of iron and wood, the metal shelving is formed from sheet metal that is then hand-welded to an iron frame and finished with hand-carved mango wood. Mango wood has a light natural tone with natural variation within the grain. We love working with this material which is a by-product of the mango-growing industry in India and repurposing it to give it a new lease of life. Once the trees are no longer fruitful, they are taken down and we use them to create many of our stylish, eclectic and sustainable furnishings for use throughout the home.

This product should only be used on firm and level ground and not placed in areas of extreme heat. Do not place very hot or cold items directly onto the glass surface. Do not strike the glass with hard or pointed items. To care for your glass, use a glass cleaner or wash in warm soapy water. Metal surfaces can be cleaned using a damp cloth. Do not use anything abrasive, or use harsh chemicals on the glass or metal as this may damage the surface of the product. Dry and polish with a soft non-abrasive cloth.
