Our wire collections are created by hand, joined, and sculpted from wire using traditional tools. The techniques incorporate traditional basketry methods but replace wicker with wire to build long lasting pieces for the home. We choose to work with family businesses who have a rich heritage of working with wire.
To care for your wire lampshade, we recommend using a soft bristle brush on a regular basis to remove any built up dust or dirt. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals as these may damage the finish.

This lampshade is just beautiful. Looks understated but gives a real 'wow factor' when in place. Heavier than expected it is well made and it casts lovely shadows across the ceiling when lit up.

I bought this for the guest bedroom after up cycling the bedframe and other furniture thought I would splash out. I am not disappointed and think I will put into the front room instead as I love it that much or purchase another. Really well crafted and feel happy to buy something that is ethically sourced.

I bought 2 of the Mukuni lampshades to go over the island in our kitchen and they are a real statement piece. Just beautiful! As other reviewers have said, they cast a pretty reflection too, for added interest. I think they are incredible value for the quality and amount of work that has gone into them with the hand wiring. Stunning! 🤩

I had been searching for a lampshades for each room in my home I like good quality and something different I came across this stunningly beautiful and well crafted lamp shade at nkunku I read the reviews and the price was with my set budget so I order it.
The lampshade arrived and before I give my outcome may I add I am really fussy with great attention too detail. On opening the box I just knew before I unpacked this piece that it was lovely I honestly can say this wire lampshade exceeded my expectations, my husband also was impressed.
I don't have this lampshade up yet as we are still having work completed but I am excited for when I get to complete the room and dressing it out.
I would certainly recommend nkunku there was no issues at all despatch was immediate delivery was prompt the only thing I would say maybe a bit of foam in the box just for extra protection. The experience has been great all round from ordering to recieving my lampshade thank you nkunku for such a wonderful and stunning item with no issues.
