The soft natural tones of our Kanz bedside table create a warm, sophisticated aesthetic. It’s crafted from mango wood, a sustainable alternative to other wood types as it’s only harvested once the tree stops bearing fruit. The wood grain is clearly displayed, adding an appealing organic look and feel. Intricately handwoven cane completes the look, enhancing the mango wood with a beautifully detailed finish. A practical drawer is included which is ideal for storing books, a pair of glasses and other bedtime essentials.
To care for your mango wood wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately. Because it is a tropical plant, mango wood is best suited to humid environments; with daily use in a home with central heating, it can be at risk of drying out if not cared for, which may cause cracking or warping. To take the best care of your mango wood, you can treat it with natural oils that you have on hand at home such as Olive Oil or Walnut Oil, using a soft cloth for application. These oils will nourish, but not permanently soak into the wood, so if you wash them off you must reapply them. Please note adding oil may darken the tone of the wood.

Pleased with the size which is exactly what I needed. Loved that it is solid and didn’t need assembling. It was also very well packed in its box so arrived undamaged, which is a miracle these days. My only reservation is that the wood is a sort of greeny-yellow which is not exactly what I hoped for. Might paint it.
