This delicately shaped table lamp takes its inspiration from vintage design pieces, while the antique brass neck-plate gives it a unique twist. The beautifully formed base has an organic natural look that works harmoniously with the rippled shade to create a diffuse light that makes it an ideal piece for a bedside table, or for creating gentle mood lighting in other living spaces. Made from clear recycled glass, this unusual piece also has the antique brass that brings a beautifully subtle and tactile feel to a room setting.
To care for the lamp, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft dry cloth to prevent the build up of dust or dirt. Ensure the light is unplugged when cleaning. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals as these may damage the finish.To take the best care of your mango wood, you can treat it with natural oils that you have on hand at home such as Olive Oil or Walnut Oil, using a soft cloth for application. These oils will nourish, but not permanently soak into the wood, so if you wash them off you must reapply them. Please note adding oil may darken the tone of the wood.

Recycled glass is washed before being crushed and melted down by skilled glassmakers. Each recycled glass piece is gently mouth-blown, creating irregular mottled patterning that renders each piece totally unique and pleasingly opulent.

This lamp gives off a gentle glow if you fit an amber G45 golfball bulb. I started with a 40 watt equivalent LED bulb which was too bright so replaced with 20 watt equivalent (2.5w 200 lumen). Also noted that the shade sits low so the bulb sits very close to the top and didn't illuminate the whole shade. Ended up buying a spare lamp bulb collar and screwing that onto the bulb housing before adding the shade frame - this lifts it up slightly. Don't use a normal sized bulb as it will be too tall for the shade.
Deducted stars due to the way the shade sits too low compared to the position of the bulb.

The lamp was a good choice in terms of appearance. However, the glass shade sits on top of the brass frame with no specific fixing, which (I feel) could make it vulnerable in the wrong setting.

I was initially drawn to both the all glass design and small size of this lamp and it did not disappoint. I use a very warm bulb with this and it looks really lovely in the evening, giving off a soft diffused light. Another beautifully hand-crafted object to relish.
