Our Sapua braided hemp pet beds, are rich with eco credentials. The hemp grows naturally without the need for pesticides or irrigation and is natural, durable and beautiful to boot. The braided look is crafted by hand and each golden fibre is carefully plaited and stitched together. We've prewashed our hemp pet mattresses to bind the fibres and ensure that they can withstand soggy pets. The inside padding of the pet mattress is generously filled with recycled wool. The braided hemp cover is removable - it simply unzips - and can be washed on a cool cycle. Make sure the bed is dried fully before use. We recommend giving your pet mattress a shake down outside to remove any dirt or dust, the natural fibres easily dispel any dried dirt. The Sapua works well as a standalone pet mattress but has also been designed to fit our pet bed frames perfectly. Our large pet bed is suitable for medium sized dogs from spaniels to Labradors. Our medium pet bed is ideal for smaller dog breeds such as Standard Dachshunds, Terriers, Bull Dogs and Pugs. Our small is perfect for Norfolk Terriers, Miniature Dachshunds and Chihuahuas.

The removable pet cushion cover is made from recycled PET yarn and is machine washable on an eco wash of 30 degrees. The cushion inner is made from recycled wool and is protected with an extra layer of dust sheet. We recommend giving this a shake every now and then.
