Our Chakai Flush Ceiling Light showcases two of our favourite materials: brass and wood. The warm tones of the brass cage pair beautifully with the natural grain of the sustainable mango wood shade. This unique piece serves both form and function, adding texture and interest to low-ceiling or functional rooms; hallway, snug or kitchen.
We use natural, reclaimed and recycled materials throughout our collections as we believe in celebrating the beauty of the natural world, reusing resources and minimising waste wherever we can. Mango wood has a light natural tone with natural variation within the grain. We love working with this material, which is typically a by-product of the mango growing industry in India, and repurposing it to give it a new lease of life. We use this wood to create many of our stylish, eclectic and sustainable furnishings for use throughout the home. This wood pairs beautifully with brass.
To care for this lamp, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Always ensure the lamp is turned off at the switch when cleaning.
