Our Nabhi chair is a perfect example of timeless design that marries time-honoured craftsmanship with natural materials. This beautifully proportioned piece is handcrafted from solid mango wood with a simple organic silhouette that follows a natural curve, creating an elegantly tactile frame that is as supportive as it looks inviting. A handwoven cane panel adorns the back, creating a comfortable support, while the generously upholstered slubby cotton cushion is supremely soft and lends an overall understated look to this skilfully crafted piece. An heirloom piece that will look striking in any living space, from reading nook to bedroom or garden room.
Hand crafted from mango wood to our unique design. Mango wood is a by-product of mango farming. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, and harvested over a number of years, then once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they are cut down to allow farmers to plant more trees. Selling the waste material also provides the farmers with a supplementary income.
Wipe surfaces regularly with a soft dry cloth to remove dust and moisture. Mild soap and water can be used for cleaning but take care not to use excess water as this may damage the finish. Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as this may damage the finish. The cushion cover is removable, suitable for the washing machine on a delicate wash at 30 degrees. Do not tumble dry and note that the colour may fade in direct sunlight.
