These elegant recycled glass cake domes provide a stylish way to display and store culinary delights from cakes to cheeses. The dome slots neatly into the mango wood base.
We use recycled glass to make these collections. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is then crushed and melted down before being hand blown or placed in moulds to create beautiful new products.
To care for the glass dome, we recommend a gentle hand wash only. Use a mild dish soap to clean, rinse in clean water. To care for your Mango Wood board and stand, wash in warm soapy water after every use to prevent staining, rinse and dry immediately, do not soak. Due to the nature of the wood, the colours may change over time. To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a dry cloth. Please note that adding oil may darken the tone of the wood.

absolutely love this .. although slightly more expensive than others the quality speaks for itself .. it’s well made and you definitely get what you pay for .. delighted with it , looks beautiful in my new kitchen .. only downside is i have to keep it filled with cakes that don’t last long 😂

I hesitated before buying this cake stand because it’s expensive and l hadn’t bought from nkuku before and sometimes clever photography makes items look better than they are.
Clever photography has not been used by nkuku, the cake stand is beautiful and stunning and well worth the money.
